The Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict is an NGO network that
monitors
and reports on violations against the security and rights of children

adolescents in specific situations of armed conflict. Watchlist uses

information to urge action by the UN Security Council, other UN agencies

Campaign Organizer - Stop Violence Against Women / Amnesty International

As a Campaign Organiser in the Stop Violence Against Women Campaign
(SVAW)
team, you will lead an implementation of the daily campaigning
activities of
the SVAW campaign including scheduling, monitoring, undertaking and
reporting of major pieces of work.
Evaluation Consultants for the Project "Strengthening Women's Legal
Rights
in Aceh" / UNIFEM East and Southeast Asia Regional Office / Deadline for

Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD or Aceh) was still a conflict-torn region
when
the Indian Ocean tsunami of 26 December 2004 struck. The impact of the
disaster was devastating to Acehnese communities emotionally,
economically,
socially and environmentally. Aceh, more than any other place, bore the
brunt of the disaster with estimates of 130,000 deaths, 37,000 missing
and
nearly 500,000 internally displaced persons living in barracks,
makeshift
camps and host communities. The majority of victims are believed to be
women.
Interim Programme Coordinator, CEDAW Southeast Asia

The Interim Programme Coordinator will manage the implementation of the
country workplan of the CEDAW SEAP towards the successful completion of
programme activities in Timor Leste for the first phase of the
Programme.
The Interim Programme Coordinator will also assist the UNIFEM Country
Programme Manager by providing management support to the execution of
gender
mainstreaming initiatives to identified line ministries as part of
capacity
building efforts to promote CEDAW implementation in Timor-Leste.
Communications and Resource Mobilization Specialist - Ending Violence

UNIFEM is searching for an experienced professional committed to gender
equality who can bring the necessary expertise to develop a multi-year,
multi-pronged, multi-media communications and fundraising strategy to
achieve advocacy, outreach and resource mobilization goals on ending
violence against women. To reach new audiences and funders, a strong
communications background is essential, including use of the internet
and
modern technologies.
